I really enjoyed reading your story :)
One thing I would change is the length - there are a lot of details missing here that would have enhanced the story as a oneshot. Right now this is really more of a drabble.
Anyways, great job! =D I can't wait to read another of your stories!

Aww! I love it! I just spent my first year at college, and during that time my room was made into the guest bedroom and I was moved to a smaller area. It was awful! I'm like: "Dude, this isn't going to happen." But it did, I didn't have much of a say. XD

Now we must all listen to Bon Jovi's new song: Who Says You Can't Go Home? It reminds me of your fanfiction a little. XD XD Anyhow, great short one shot, especially nice right before bed. Hope you write many more. Loved the part about the candy, lol, it was cute.
