A bittersweet and strange ending, I liked it humorous almost.

i read this story a long time ago. i thought it was sad back then, but now that i've read the manga, it's terribly depressing, but in a kinda nice, bittersweet sort of way.

This is the saddest,most loving story I have pretty much ever read. It is so depressing, that fact that Winry's lost from him for ever. This makes me cry every time I read it and is a fantastic ending to CoS. You should be REALLY proud of yourself.

it was so cute! and have you ever read the golden compass series? because there is almost the EXACT same passage about two atoms... here lemme find it...
