don't worry, length is good. my one-shots average at about 30 words. in fact, i had to break one of them into three roughly even parts and make it a chapter work because it was upwards of 120 words (13110), and that's a bit extreme, even for me.

This was a beautiful piece--nicely written, well-characterized, and very, very sweet. I like how much you emphasize the unspoken feelings between them. And I also enjoyed the introspection that you put in on Victor's part, including the implication that he thinks often of Emily. I really enjoy the idea of Victor and Victoria having met before, but not realizing who the other one was. Just because they were both so sheltered (especially Victoria), it's believable. :)

Very nice job. This is going on my favorites list. I love finding well-done Victor/Victoria romances. :)
