Now that's what I call an ending, and one that almost had me crying "twin waterfalls." (a line from Pedro from "Excel-Saga") From all I know, you might do another with me in it, but I digress. Great Story.

A fitting ending. It's final enough that no one has cause to complain if you don't ever write a sequel, but it's open enough that you can write anything from five minutes later to thirty years later. I hope you'll let me know if you decide to write a sequel. I don't browse pokemon fanfics often, so I'll be relying on you!

I would've done the same thing if I was in Ash's shoes: Go all out to find the one you love when all hell has busted loose. I may be weakened by running all around, and feel more ill than a person with pneumonia, but if it means following my heart, it wouldn't matter. This story has been horrifically great so far. I hope the ending will be calmingly peaceful.
BTW, I did ask about the surprise in the next chapter. Can you guess who it is?

So back to Nara they go? It's too bad May can't stay in Pallet, but I guess the only thing tying Ash there is his mom, and I'm sure she understands.

What a relief. I can feel bad for Carina, which I was all set to do, and wonder if Ash is going to push Gary off a cliff. Somehow, I doubt it, but it'd sure make for an interesting epilogue if he did.

Take your time on the epilogue, don't force it. It is, after all, the end of the story, and I'd like for it to be as good as the rest.

Did you always prefer Gary as a big jerk? I know he seems hard headed so many times, but I thought after suffering defeat in the Johto League, they would finally be on level terms. Then again I did have him die by cancer at the end of 'Clash Worlds,' and I wasn't really a decent person with a nac for Gary.
