You have a lovely, easy writing style that works beautifully with the introspective aspect of your story -- and your descriptions of the Turk/AVALANCHE interactions (and sleeping arrangements) in this chapter made me laugh. The only thing I found at all off-kilter was Vincent giving out romantic advice, considering how his one known relationship turned out. Yet I liked his advice...
I hope you may continue this at some point; I'd love to see how Cid might propose.

I can't believe no one reviewed this! This is probably one of the best Cid fic on this site (and believe me I read a lot of fanfics). It's very well written and none of the characters are OOC. We really need more stories like these.
