I like this little story. Realians are rather interesting in my opinion and your fic certainly brought up some nice points about their existence and purpose.

MOMO and Canaan may both be Realians, but they’re polar opposites, too. This story best exemplifies their differences in an ironic way. Truthfully, I can picture a conversation like this happening in the canon. Canaan has suppressed emotions, while MOMO is stimulated by filial warmth and related feelings. As such, their conversation goes back and forth, comparing/contrasting their differences and each other. MOMO seems to learn quite a bit, though I couldn’t help but think Canaan didn’t walk away with as much (but he’s got suppressed emotions, so it’s understandable. This fanfic would’ve gotten OOC if Canaan started acting emotional). More over, this story is different from typical fanfare, and a nice breath of fresh air in the fandom (especially since Canaan stories are so rare).

Very insightful to MOMO's possible feelings and insecurities. I loved it, I also love your Canaan, he wasn't in the game so much but he struck me as a strong character and I instantly liked him. Please keep writing Xenosaga there's no one else I know who can get their characters right and do one hell of a Jr/MOMO fic.

I really liked that. For being the only two realians onboard with our merry band, MOMO and Canaan seem to have very little in common, but it's so fun to see them interact. Very well-written and in-character, thanks for a good read. -
