Somehow, I have a feeling that Gojyo would self-destruct without Hakkai. He'd drink himself into oblivion, pick random bar fights, and forget about taking care of himself...

I think Gojyo would try to revert back to life before meeting Hakkai, fail at it, and become depressed and distraught... Hopefully if that ever happened in canon (i.e. Hakkai dying) -- Sanzo and Goku would intervene before something really bad happened to Gojyo. 8^(
