This is the first Xenosaga fic that I've read and it was quite nice. It seems a lot of folks here like to write about Shion, but she's my least fav character. It's good to see a well written fic about characters I actually like. I think you did really good w/ keeping them in character, too. Excellent job!

The characters seemed a little OOC to me, but that could be because I just finished the third game and this is quite obviously from the second, so we know more about both chaos and Canaan.

Excellent story, good use of viewpoint. Watch your tenses, though... you're wandering between past and present tense pretty randomly, and that's something you should try and keep uniform.
