Hi there! After sending that PM for Denouement, I ended up back at your profile page and was pleased to see a Star Trek original series fic here. (And don't worry... I read your message that it was from years and years ago). I thought it was cute. I really love parody type stuff and I enjoyed all of the typical things that are always in every episode, like McCoy's references to Spocks ears, McCoy's complaining about the transporter, Kirk going after every woman he meets, etc. Liked your story. No criticisms. (Are you looking forward to the new movie?)

I seldom read Star Trek fics any more- but your title really appealed to me. I loved this! McCoy's Spock induced transporter accident was perfect. Kirk's lapse of memory death was hilarious too. Extra points for talking a happy computer to death and nipping racism and sexism in the bud. I could hear the heroic music swelling in the background. Da da dum (Chekov screams) da da da da DUM! On a personal note, sorry for irritating your cough. Hope you are feeling fit again soon :)

I love it! Uhura finally gets her due! Can you write another where Chekov gets to do something cool? Chekov is my favorite chartacter. He doesn't get ehough screen time. *shakes head sadly*

You had the skewers out for at least two of the episodes thsat made me roll my eyes the hardest (with love of course, always with love!)...how could I not enjoy it! I'd be grateful to the universe at large if any prose I did 15 years ago stood up this well.

This was really fun...don't be ashamed of it! Definitely laugh-out-loud funny. I hope you'll write more in that vein!

Just absolutely delightful! I read it straight thru and then started over again. I think I laughed harder the second time! the platitudes and cliche where spot on and were written wonderfully! As were the characters themesleves. I think sometimes these moments that we all have had in our past of doing something like this instead of what we should've been doing...are meant to happen. They give us something to have to look back on and see where and what we were at at that time. Altho I shudder at the rememberance of the first tale or two I managed toscrawl out back in my early high school decades ago. But this is just great fun to read over and over again! I hope you have more of these hidden gems tucked away for us to take a gander at! I think you grasp the characters well and obviosuly enjoyed writing about them as well as just enjoyed the show! So I do hope to see more Star Trek stories from you!!
