Beautiful!

This was a lovely concept for a fanfic and a truly interesting one-shot. The characterizations are wonderful and idea is original, something which is extremely hard to find in fanfiction these days, with the large amount of cliched plots and whatnot. So, I say kudos to you, on a well thought out idea and great writing style (I really do like it), almost like a narrative poem, especially at the end:

"I usually don't care too much when it's my turn to do cleaning duties.

Everybody does it.

Even those two.

But only those two mean what they do to the other.

So it's ok he's frowning. It's ok she's upset, even.

But when it comes to crying…

I laugh still when I think how that day I resented cleaning duty.

If it wasn't for that, I doubt I'd have been able to forgive him.

Because everyone can clean the floors, but those two…

She's the only one who can make him apologize, and he's the only one who can make her cry…

And then smile anew.

So I'll let it slide – me mopping the floors on my own.

Given, of course – that he'll keep them cheeks of hers dry.

In return, she'll keep him out of trouble, I think.

Told you, didn't I?

wow this is interesting. I love how you wrote Kiego. actually i love your writing period. you have a wonderful style. Too bad this is a oneshot but it's short and sweet. any way kudos for you ^_^

Interesting introspection into Ichigo and Rukia's relationship. Makes me want to start reading the manga cause the anime is so far behind.

Definitely enjoyed this one. Not really that much dialogue, but it was appropriate for the subdued tone that your story conveys. Can't really find any faults with this piece.

Wonderful ending! I loved those last few lines. Your tenses get messed up every now and again, but it's balanced by a neat idea. Asano's point of view is well done.
