Good job. I really liked it, and the twist with Nonoko was extremely interesting *Natsume points a finger with a flame on it a Nonoko, while a hawk Ruka brought is hovering above her "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'll never do it again! I PROMISE!" she whimpers* LOL on the Mikan doll. I think it's great that you put Mikan dolls in it, since that's Hotaru's ultimate goal (although in her case, she wants to create more of a Mikan clone, since she wants to create a completely perfect replica). Also, I find it odd that Mikan doesn't decide to date Natsume. I mean, I get it. She doesn't want to ruin her's and Ruka's friendship, or his and Natsume's, but she really loves him, and he really loves her. Her feelings for Ruka are more like her feelings for Hotaru, she loves him, but not romantically (in my opinion, anyway; don't know about other people). Now, for a technical review: There were almost no mistakes in this, however I did notice a few word fumbles here and there. Mostly in the last two chapters, but I can understand that. I mean, being almost finished with an eight chapter story could make anyone a little sloppy, right? Yes. So, in short, amazing story, LOVED what you did with the characters, and I find it hillarious(sp) that so many guys are falling for Mikan. Especially DA guys. I mean, I really wouldn't expect that many of them to fall for her. I mean, there's what, five guys in the DA class, and two out of the five like/love Mikan? Wow.

I usually don't respond to chapters until the end of a story, but I HAVE TO RESPOND TO THIS! I agree with you on the "It was hard not to take it further" comment at the end. I've written several NatsumexMikan fanfics where things get...intimate...the first one is when they were eleven, so I REALLY had to restrain myself. The second is when they're twelve (hasn't happened in the manga yet...) on Mikan's twelfth birthday...things happen...(Not TOO much, they are only twelve, after all...actually, Natsume's younger than Mikan...so he's still eleven...) thank God I wrote the third one for when they're sixteen. Anyway, I totally understand that predicament. It's just soooooo hard to resist!
