such a sweet & deep story-you have captured both soubi & esp.ristuka so beautifully!

this was a good story and i really liked it. however, since you said ritsuka's mom had munchausen's syndrome i decided to look it up to see exactly what it is and nothing in the description describes ritsuka's mom. munchausen's syndrome is when someone makes themselves ill in order to get attention and sympathy, munchausens syndrome by proxy is supposed to be when a parent makes a child ill in order to gain attention & sympathy. ritsuka's mom isnt faking an illness or making ritsuka sick, she's beating him and she isnt telling about how ritsuka is clumsy or anything in order to get attention.

You write so elegantly! You put so much emotion into few words and into the motion of the characters.

So many people use dialog - which isn't a bad thing - but you use instead the expression of their body language and touches to make it so much more profound!

What LLC said was interestng. If it was a mistake, that'd be not great, but it got me thinking (you're contradiction things, which were astounding) that maybe his mother hurts herself by hurting Ritsuka, and that would be another contradiction! In which case you, ma'am/sir, are amazing. In /any/ case, really...

The only thing (sorry, I'm in no position...) that kinda ruined that light, but profound kind of mood was the part where it lists where Soubi touches Ritsuka. "... his face, his neck, his chest..." Suddenly, it felt like I was reading a grocery list, and the change in tone that created was /very/ noticable for me.

Uhh, really, though! That was /so/ touching. It really got me thinking deeper, and that's great that you can make people do that. Don't give up writing, unless something /really/ important comes along!

good story. love the little bit about Ritsuka's name showing up. But his mother would have Munchausens-by-proxy, not munchausens. someone with munchausens hurts THEMSEKVES. someone with M-B-P hurts others.

Beautiful to n-th degree. I loved how you took the butterflies and added them in, just like the show did. The only things that even slightly bugged me is now washed from memory and all that remains is amazing, pure talent.
