I really like this and it suits my whimsical mood right now. I know what you mean about the dress being almost a ring to transform us into something we never see. I feel beautiful when I have a splendid dress on...but when I look in the mirror I still see my face and sometimes fell plain again. Maybe this is you or not, but to feel beautiful in the eyes of someone else is priceless.

Gosh, this made me think of my own prom...and that's been *quite* awhile ago. LOL It's so wonderful to feel special and pretty, even if it is just for one night, and it was nice to see that Dorothy got this. [and Angel's dress sounds apropriatly hideous. **shudders** "dipped in Bubble Yum" indeed. LOL]

S: Beautiful, just as the dress was... I was made Prom Princess on that night, and for me, an outsider, someone different... It was a night I will never forget. I was not like the others, but I was accepted by them. The night was perfect, and the memory will always be with me.

good story but some of the things you mentioned like bubble yum and gone with the wind that sort of thing they don't know about seeing as all the movies were burned by paradigm and even though it is possible they know about bubble gum I doubt it.

"Roger bit his tongue to stop a remark about how she looked like she'd been dipped in Bubble Yum." *LOL!* And you're right, maybe a little OOC, but not much...I do believe that there is enough of the real Dorothy in our little miss android so that she might be afraid...she knows enough to realize that Angel is real, or what the world sees as real, and that she herself is not...and maybe a little conviction when she tells Roger that he puts her away when he's done playing with her...for some reason this reminded me of My Fair Lady..."You're a pretty pair of babies, playing with your live doll." Wonderful!
