You can start learning once you're seventeen. Whenever you actually qualify depends on when you take the test. I know people who've passed at 17. My dad was in his twenties and took three tries to pass his - and he's a doctor! My friend took five tries. I haven't even started! Anyway, keep the good work, I just had to make the point. |

If he likes hockey, the rough'n'tumble of quidditch should appeal to him, and his bad knees shouldn't get in the way of his enjoyment of the game. If the broom obeys him he would have to admit he has some degree of magical ability--even if it's only to use enchanted items. I hope you follow up on this. |
