A great story. Very good.

Very cool, very deep. There is a resonance within me that understands completely. Though we belong to different space-universes (You to Trek and I to the original Battlestar Galactica). But perhaps they aren't so different after all. Both get us through the day, and I take comfort that both will be waiting for me whenever I need them. As you so eloquently put it, "Who cares about jerks when you have the Enterprise?"

Very... interesting perspective of sentient ship psychology- strangely I liked it. Perhaps you could expand on that idea in some future story. Sort of like a telepathic link between ship and crew. Nice story in any case!
