This was a cute story. The Companion not knowing to go On Search until she saw her Chosen's eyes. The fact that the cat did it was what made it cute. Good Job!

You should try poking your non-working muses with a pointy stick until they decide to work just to make you stop annoying them. No guarantees that it'd work like I described.. but I would presume that by not working, your muses are annoying you.. which means you should annoy them, in return. (And, it'd be fun! Though.. you'd probably get bored after a while. Hm.)

Fawzi's cute.. I'm imagining her looking a lot like my old stuck up and lazier-than-Nara-Shikamaru cat.. whom we left behind when we moved.. oh well.

Would a Companion that was a combination of Mouse and etcetera-cat's Teva be scary? *brain takes that and runs like the wind* ..Oh my. *starts snickering* >:D

Off to ponder how scary a Mouse-Teva mix would be.. and how far around the bend that Companion's poor Chosen would be driven. xDD

A very fun and light-hearted read, with just enough of a build-up to get the reader to get to know (and like) the characters, without getting too long - which is quite the feat in a one-shot, I'd say. Loved the perfectly feline way you wrote the cat, and the ending.
