Most fandom authors seem to prefer the more mainstream pairings and OT3's of the teams, which is all well and good, mind... but there isn't much challenge in tossing Team 7 into a romance-tinged relationship, is there? Not much of a challenge at all... it's *easy* to do, which tends to make for rather boring plots, after a while.

What "normal" fans tend to deem as crack!pairings have always been my favorites, in the Naruto fandom. Neji/Hinata (this one is marginally easier to find than most), Gaara/Anyone other than Naruto, Ino/Kidomaru, Kimimaro/Sakura, Kisame/Sakura (or hell, almost *anyone* from Akatsuki paired with Sakura makes for an interesting plot, even if it isn't romantically-inclined)... acutally, Kisame in *any* Het pairing is almost impossible to find, which makes me crave it all the more!

Anyway, what I'm trying to say in such a round-about way is... thank you for writing this. It's very well written, and most people don't seem to think about this angle of things for a plot. Now I only wish I knew something of the other series' you've written fics for so that I could read them without feeling lost! ^^; Keep up the good work, dear.

Good night, I like it a LOT. The wtyle of writing was very deft, and they wre in character. It's kind of sad it ended so soon-slightly bittersweet story. Very nice.
