I love this story, it's so depressing though. I've never read either a story or novel that was narrated like this before, it's so neat! :D

I love your ending!

It has an interesting mix of emotion and action and confusion which makes it wonderful to read.

Oh, Feta. This is just spectacular. I could cry, it's so sad (like I did with the real book). Tonks, Sirius, Lupin. Those are my three fav characters and seeing them get killed off one by one killed ME. So thank you thank you for putting a new spin on it. Imagining them all together again, and happy...wow.

And not to mention the fact that your style was beautiful, as always. Favorite parts:

It is more logical, of course, that your princess would be Sirius – Sirius who once said he would take down the moon with a slingshot if it would free you. (Sounds so much like him.)

You find yourself suddenly illuminated from several directions, as though on a lighted stage, and before you can crumple to the floor you step outside of yourself as though it is the most natural act in the world. Sirius, having set his cousin back down, is looking straight at you, with that trademark grin that you’ve missed so much that you can feel a hole inside you refill, and you know you are never going to lose him again. (Great style, imagery, ending, EVERYTHING.)

Sad. Really, really sad. But the wonderful kind, you know? Good job.

Aw, that was a great ending. I wish I was that good at ending stuff. Let's see, the paragraph towards the end where you elaborate on the Dopplebeater Defense again is probably my favorite bit of this whole chapter. It just totally captures the details of grief and avoiding grief. I loved it.

But this part was amazing too (it was all amazing): "She loved Sirius, you loved Sirius, and all else is irrelevant; before you know what you are doing, you are crying, something you could never have done in front of Sirius without blushing like a schoolboy. Crying like you haven’t cried since – since Prongs – and she is right beside you, and you are slipping, falling into her arms and vaguely thinking that Sirius would laugh his arse off if he could see you now. Hours later, you awaken, cramped and wet with both your tears and hers, to find Molly looking on with eyebrows raised."

I have to congratulate you. That is simply one of the best stories on here I've ever read. Good luck!

Yes, the Remus/Tonks thing never really worked for me, but this makes it seem very believable :) I love this story it is amazing! You are a wonderful writer!

Bittersweet though...

I did like how you included Tonks and made cannon seem possible. It always seemed like an expected match as Tonks is a bit like Sirius (and they are cousins after all) so I can see where Remus would turn to her for comfort (though for romance... I dunno).

So very poignant and raw - it cuts to the bone without being too wordy. Everything you says has a distinct purpose.

Wow. Can't describe how wonderful that was in words. Amazing.

I loved reading this part in another POV than the book's. The flashback conversations were wonderful-gave Bella/Trixie some personality, made her REAL. This chapter made my breath catch in my throat and and and...sigh. I just love it.

"There is a nasty side effect of devoting so much of your life to the War, of years to teach yourself to avoid the past, and that is: you can lose and lose and lose and lose and never let it touch you.

"You can hold onto Harry as though you'll never release him – but then, you never meant to let go of Sirius, either."

I love the way you pull the reader into Lupin's head-so awesome. Favorite part:

"It took a moment to hit you – something about a conversation you were supposed to have before, or was it after – after this – and you tried not to break into a grin: at his timing, at the world turning properly for once. You should have trusted Sirius to read your mind.

"Just once, ducked behind a stone bench with a raging battle around you, the pink-and-black blur that was Tonks and Bellatrix’s duel, in a haze of friction and completion, he leaned in and kissed you, aggressive but quick. His hand was around the back of your head; his wand digging into your skull was the least of your worries."

Absolutely beautiful. I can't say it enough: I LOVE your style. Keep it up and please update soon!

So happy/sad. If you know what I mean. Happy because Sirius and Remus are finally togetehr, and sad because Sirius dies very soon after... :(
