This was really deep and delved well into the character she was. I always felt after it came out that Alex was a lesbian, that Jay was still a big part of who she was and deeply ingrained in her because of their history even though she didn't have a sexual attraction to him anymore. I figured their history and loyalty to one another would make them good close friends who would have each others backs after all they went through together. And the ending to this was perfect, about her pushing back.

Wow, So I kow I'm a little late with this story but I just wanted to review to say that I thought this was very good and you had me hanging o every word, it was excellently written and very in character for Alex. I liked the behind the scenes looks at alex and jay's childhood. very good job. :D

Ok well this fan fiction was mostly. well all about alex and since they are my two favorite characters and couple I loved this fan fiction a lot.I thought that you did an amazing job writing this fan fiction, because well I think it is hard to write jalex fan fictions, but no you did an awsome job with this one.I do hope that you will, write more jalex fan fiction, because I would like to read them.

I liked this. Alex is one of my favorite characters. While I'm all for slash pairings, I really don't get her with Paige. This seems a bit more realistic than the show currently.

Your characterizations never cease to amaze me. You have given more development to Alex in what feels like a hundred or so words than the writer's on the show did in 3 years worth of episodes. And it feels so dead on that this is the Alex we've come to know and love over the years that we have known her. Even though you said this ficlet wasn't influenced by the new season, it feels like HF, it feels like HF in a sense of it finally making sense why Alex is still comfortable around Jay post her Palex break-up, and allows him to be there for her...

It's wierd how I can actually enjoy reading a story about Alex. I'm not much of a fan, but maybe I can overlook that because I liked this story so much.
