Ah...so this is the end.

It was a very good read, to your credit. It was intense when it was meant to be, detailed without being too lengthy, and realistic (as far as Detective Conan goes anyway. It's probably not that easy to disguise oneself as someone else). The characters are intriguing and as far, as I could tell, in-character. Ai's changed quite a bit though.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed though. I think that you could've explored Conan and Ai's relationship a bit more, especially toward the end. I know that you said it wasn't going to be ConanXAi in the end, but I feel that the end of the pairing, if you will, was too abrupt.

Then again it's quite rare that I like an ending, especially one of a story I truly enjoy reading. Expectations can't always be met, I suppose.

On that note, though, I do like the final line Conan said. The diary entry intrigues me, mainly because of the wording of it (props to you!) There were a lot of parts that I absolutely love actually. Can't remember all of them at the moment, but the diary is one... It's a great plot and you executed it (for the most part) brilliantly!!

Not that I'm one to critique, mind you, since I don't write...

Quite an intense chapter. Did Rum die or did he survive by some form of miracle? In case I haven't mentioned it, I love this story =)

Haha, you know, I seriously perked up when I read that Shuichi isn't dead (yet...?) in your fic. Well, you did mention this was written before certain events in the manga. I assume it includes the revelation of Shuichi's relationship with Akemi as well.

Shouting to release anger...? That reminds me of Final Fantasy X =_=" Not sure I like the corniness of it...however I remember that I didn't particularly enjoy the scene in the game as I could've.

Hm...that smell from the diary. Is it a hidden ink? Like lemon juice or something? lol Hope I'm just not over assuming. It's great to see Ai change for the better but at the same time there's something at the back of my head saying she's OOC. Then again it's a fanfiction and it's been years since the series timeline anyway.

Looking forward to finding out more in the next chapter. ^_^

Well, I've finally read the last chapters of this story.
I've mixed feelings.
There is very intense scenes but, on the other hand, the end was pretty abrupt and let a large number of question unanswered...^__^;

I loved the romance between Christine and Shuichi, it was wonderfully bittersweet and the boss daughter was a fleshed and beautifully ambigous character. The last minutes of the poor woman's life were heartbreaking.
The confontation between Shuichi and Ai was very well done, and, despite the fact that I don't love much the pairing, I adored this scene.

The last chapter was intense and full of suspense, I think you've made a pretty good job with Gin. Ah, so much love for our favorite hitman and his unhealthy obsession with his favorite prey.X3
Honestly, the end of Haibara's nemesis was worth of him.Xd

Oh and, of course, you've handled the end of the org in a believable way.

Like I said, my main problem is the end, I've read very few end which was as frustrating that this one.^^;
Maybe it's because you didn't know if you wanted a Shuichi/Shiho end or a Shinichi/Shiho end?
I don't know...
But hey, I trully enjoyed this entire story anyway, not as much than Antidote but I still found it better than Galatea.^__^

What a wicked ending. XD Although there were a few things which are not very clear (what Gin was thinking, for example, and his strange behaviour although Gin has always seemed like an intelligent and sharp guy to me) I like the ending very much. Like June, I loved Shuichi and Chris in the last chapter. It seemed that Gin had gone too far when he teased Shuu about the time Sherry spent with him. XD

And I love the last short scene.

Congratulations to the fic. Now I'm looking forward to read the new version of JAC. :D
