i already like the story. nice.

I've been meaning to read this for ages and ages and have never quite got round to it- and I've really missed out. Your Yuffie voice is perfect, funny and slightly rambly and not too serious even when she's being serious.

I also realy enjoyed how you portrayed her relationship with Godo- very much love/hate, not just hate like a lot of people focus on (him digging a tunnel to her house a moment I really enjoyed).

And her interactions with Vincent were perfect, making me remember all over again why I love Yuffentine. I love how you explored the reasons for his anger at her theft, and her thoughts on her crush! Loved loved loved it.

Can't wait for more!

no the chapter's not aweful. it's got some nice character development and already has a good plot.

so unrequited is okay i guess. yeah it is a little wierd when she's still 16 but what abt when she's older. plus he doesn't age at this point so yeah.
good story though and yuffie's pov adds humor to everything.

Ew... *shudders and grabs her blankie* Don Corneo's such a nasty little worm. I really want to send him straight to Dante's brand of Inferno, AKA Special Regions of Hell Reserved for Unnatural Lechers. You did a REALLY good job portraying his character.

Also, I really liked how you incorporated Yuffie's fear of dangling from the mountain. The complete skewing of view and the blood rushing to the head, as well as the HEIGHT involved makes it a very reasonable situation to fear. It lends so much more to Yuffie's side of things during Cloud's battle with Don Corneo and co. However, I'll admit my favorite part in this chapter is when Vincent shows up and caught Yuffie. It's my inner VincentxYuffie fangirl. *grins* Yuffie crying at the end of the ordeal was also a nice touch, as you made her seem more human and like a girl her age. Most teenagers (not to mention people in general) do not stand up well to all that stress. It makes what she went through and her actions more realistic. Great job!

This has to be one of my favorite chapters (the end is the best)! You're such a great author, and I can't wait for more.

"Knight in leatherblack vampiresilly armor he wasn’t," had to be my most favorite line of this story so far. This was a great update, and I'm really happy for it. I'm still very much hoping there will be some romance, but it would seem weird with Yuffie being sixteen and all. It doesn't matter though. You're a wonderful author and this story is one of my favorites. Hope you update soon!

I stumbled upon this fic by accident, but boy, oh boy, am I glad I did! Where do I start in praising this? It’s expertly written, for one. I absolutely lovelovelove how well you captured Yuffie’s voice. It’s just so perfect, just so HER, that you almost feel as if she’s talking to you, relating her story in a totally casual way. Writing from the first person point of view isn’t the easiest thing to do (I’ve always struggled with it) so it’s amazing how well you’re able to describe things so colorfully, without losing the pacing or detail. Vincent’s personality is wonderfully, sweetly morose, the story itself is a grand detraction form the original adventure (Kudos to you for taking so many liberties!) and Yuffie’s feelings and thoughts are dead-on.

Oh hurray! Hurray! I'm so happy!

Your writing is as amazing as ever! The little jumps between Yuffie's storytelling and EW GROSS was so amusing, and I was starting to feel dizzy during her description of dangling from Da Chao (I'm rather afraid of heights). Cloud's to-the-rescue line was very in character, and the fight scene was very well done. Adding in Reno was a nice touch- I must admit I'm a bit partial him.

Vincent catching Yuffie was, of course, the best part :)! I'd been wondering where he was when the rest of AVALANCHE had arrived. Aw, Yuffie, cry your heart out!
