Plus I was just rereading some of this story's chapters and I again can't wait till you post the next chapter! I love this story so much. It always makes my day when I get to read your story (even if some of it makes me mad of Yumi and sad for Kaoru).
persephonesfolly 2008-05-15 ch 6,	abuseNo fair! You start such a promising fic and then abandon it?!? Too cruel. And I was so enjoying reading about Kaoru beginning to trust Kenshin. Making Aoshi her brother was surprising but unexpectedly workable. The physical/emotional abuse both suffer at the hands of Yumi makes for excellent drama. I've really come to hate her, and you've done a good job of making Yumi sickeningly duplicitous. Kaoru's actions and emotions are easy to picture due to your descriptive abilities. Usually that much character introspection becomes dull, but not this time. It's a crying shame you haven't updated in over a year.

Collabarateur 2008-02-14 ch 6,	abuseWell-crafted story, I loved the Kaoru/Kenshin interaction. One thing that I think you can improve on a little for the story is to add some things from Sanosuke's point of view. Too many authors portray him as an uncultured thug. I hate that. He may be a little rough around the edges, but he certainly is very cunning. Hope you can do something there. Other than that, keep up the great story-telling. Now, get back to work.

The plot is so creative and different and I began to cry during the 4th chapter onward. I don't want to nag or anything, but I hope that you update soon. Because very rarely have I found anything like this-and I do read a lot of fanfiction. So if you consider updating soon and read my words of a humble reviewer and fanfiction-lover, I would be so thankful. (One thing though I would suggest not making the romantic realtionship's too phsical, that would blur the line between love and lust too much) Keep it up!

You're amazing? Someone with your talent is doing the entire world a favor by gracing us with their ingenious plot bunny ideas. XD 4) I just reviewed every single one of your chapters in the last thiry minutes just to make sure you realized just how awesome this story is. 5) A little piece of me just might die if I can't see the end to this story. Sad, but true. So... Keep it up!

ShadowedKoi 2007-12-18 ch 4,	abuseSo far this is my favorite chapter besides the first. It's a tie, truthfully. I'm indecisive like that. The romance makes itself blatanly known! A very interesting scene set up. It didn't come off as cliche at all like some other stories out there. Your writing is still amazing. Are you just trying to put all of us other authors to shame? Sheesh. How can we even compete..? Though I'd happily profess your excellency to all because you're that deserving of it. Here comes the catch phrase... KEEP IT UP! ;)
ShadowedKoi 2007-12-18 ch 3,	abuseThought you should know that I have every intention of writing a review for each chapter... It might take me awhile, but I'll get it finished eventually. This is an interesting spin on Aoshi. I'm not sure if I've seen his character played this way before. For once, he actually has a reason to be stoic! I am still THOROUGHLY enjoying this story and it is still one of my top ten out of ALL fanfictions I've read. KEEP IT UP! :D
