What an amazing piece of work. I was hooked from the first word until the last. The structure is wonderful, the characters are wonderfully 'in character' and the switching from past to present was very effective. Kudos!

I really like this story. It is so tastefully done. I like how you keep Gojyo and Hakkai in character and add a bit of Sanzo and Goku into the mix. This is a really good story and I'll be looking forwards to other writings from you ^_^ Keep up the good work.

I really, really, really enjoyed reading this. It's very well written and I think the characterizations were perfectly done. Loved the Gojyo/Hakkai-ness of it all, very soft and unassuming and also the little taste of Sanzo/Goku as well. Once again very well done. =) *favourites*

I do see their friendship being this deep, but only if you weren't actually giving it yaoi indications. They really do rely on each other, don't they? Well-written, and I like your use of flashbacks. They were well-integrated.
