I have not been about for a while. I must say that this is a suprising fic. I didn't expect a supernatural twist like that. I like the way you describe the technique and the consequences etc. associated with it.

I don't know much about anime and manga yet, but I'll take a guess and say that one of the two you mentioned was Inuyasha. *Thinks back to Kikyou*

The manga you referred to is Rumiko Takahashi's Mermaid series, is it not? (Mermaid's Forest, Mermaid's Scar, etc. I can't keep them all straight...) And the anime's got to be Inuyasha.

Ah yes, the "Nee-chan" thing. Whaddaya bet that one innocent line in the OVA was enough to spawn many, many Mary Sue fics? *sigh* Silly, silly fanpeople.
