Good story, and accurate description of what it's like to live with an addict or user... I'll be watching this one.

After reading this on another site I finally had the brains to check here and BINGO! I found there's a chapter 3 to go with the other 2. Please tell me you plan to continue? I think you've got something original here and I love it. What an excellent way to explore a character, go back in time. The beauty of this story is that it's Alex, it's the same Alex we know and love, but younger.

All of the characters seem realistic and you're obviously a very talented writer. Please continue?

Ooh, how did I miss this when you first posted it?? Anyway, hurrah! I'm really enjoying this: Alex as a child, but as a previous reviewer said, she's still totally recognizable as the Eames we know (and that's no easy feat)...and it's not overly cutesy or maudlin, and the family relationships are SO real. I especially loved Alex's rebellious thoughts about the too-perfect Molly, but the portrayal of the aunt is also really good - it would be so easy to go way over the top with the little bits of story we were given in "Vacancy", but this is much subtler and thus very satisfying. Looking forward to more!

Another great chapter. I'm really loving this. Our spunky Alex is in this little girl, and I love that. I can still the grown up Alex. I can't say how much I enjoy that enough. This is really a great story. I can't wait for more.

I read this a few days ago and completely forgot to review. I really like this story and I thought it was very in character for Alex. I hope you continue and we can see more of the damage caused by "Boozy Aunt Suzy"
