No why couldn't they have done that in Canon-verse?!? Absolutely brilliant, and an excellent fixer to that rather angsty and depressing ending provided by the Beeb!
Truly captured the right mood, the right sentiments of each character, and gave us an absolutely brilliant story in the process

I enjoyed your version which makes more sense even if the Doctor is a more stylish savior than Rose. But then, he's had lots of practice. Everybody is brave and there's little angst, unlike most GITF fic.
