Once again I was going over my bookmarks and doing some cleaning and organizing when I spotted this story and decided to read it again when I also noticed that I hadn't written a review for it.

This is one of the best Sam/Daniel fics, which in only six chapters was able to include angst, drama, romance and comfort while showing us the great friendship between the members of the original SG-1 team. We get not only to know the friendship between Sam and Daniel, but also the friendship between them and Teal'c and see how he goes to great length to ensure that his teammates are happy. Like that wasn't enough we also have a great interaction between Jack and Sam, even after the events told by Sam that can be seen as a fight between them and the end of their attraction/fantasy of a future together. This part was excellent and it felt like Jack.

The talk between Teal'c and Daniel in the forest was marvelous and it felt not only like Teal'c simply helping Daniel, but it also felt, to me, like he was giving Daniel a reason to keep fighting to get back to Earth and in a way, also repaying him for having taken the one true love out of his life.

Superb writing and great insight when it comes to the characters.

I like the story. I have a headache, so perhaps I'll leave it at that.

::snorts:: Daniel singing “I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day?” to Sam's stomach is an absolutly fantasic image, I can even picture him dancing around a little bit while he does it tehe really great story i really enjoyed it! i'm glad that Sam got some sense knocked into her, it was even better that it was Jack who did it :-P the kiss in the gate room was also spectacular! very well done!

WOW! *Squeaks loudly* I love this chapter! And the names, they are great. I think you should do another one-shot about when David is about five, and Sam and Daniel tell him about Saul, and that he will have another baby...*Poke poke poke* '

I believe this to be a very real representation of how we hide our feelings. We may not mean to, but to protect ourselves we say things in a slightly differnt manner. Very good! I like the chapter. Once again, sorry for the delayed reply. Ive been away.

A very appropriate ending for this story. The only negative thing about this chapter is, that it's the end. I really would like to read more about Sam and Daniel and their life with David.

Oh, I loved this chapter. Picking the baby names and remembering the "first" baby really had me choked up. It's very true what you wrote about the lost baby. The rest of the world forgets, but you never forget. I hope you weren't writing from personal experience because personal experience in this case really sucks.

Enough with the depressing stuff... I would love to see you continue this story line. Thanks.

A thoughtful end to a very good story. Please continue to write more about Sam and Daniel (my favorite pairing-really can't see someone as smart as Sam with someone as one-dimensional [although sharp and funny] as Jack)
