Cross-over! I think Bleach and IY work well together... though expanding on that takes some work. This was pulled off quite well for an impromptu. :-)

I've not read Bleach but I've picked up enough about it that with the information included in your story I could keep up with what was happening. What an interesting idea for a crossover. It reads more like an opening chapter than a one shot and I woudn't mind reading more if you decide to continue.
