anyway, about this pairing-not such a big fan of it, but you drew me in, and now i really want to read the rest. for something considered shounen-ai, there's really little homosexual couples in fanworks for rose of versailles.

anyway, you're a detailed, interesting writer, as shown in the story, and i look forward to future chapters.

I feel like the commander here; I'm forgetting Saint Just is a murderer... I'm also trying to ignore what he ended up doing and how he ended up. Whenever I manage that... the story is actually a lot of fun.

I will restate what I wrote on the first chapter: it makes sense! Very nice development of Saint-Just's character... it sort of reconciles RoV Saint-Just with historical Saint-Just... and leaves room for interesting continuation, which I will be anticipating. :3 And the ending is so sweet. Aw. Gerodere. Aw.

I also giggled a bit (although I probably shouldn't have) at how Gerodere was relieved that Saint-Just was *only* going to murder Lepeletier.

I'm really excited. :3 I actually squealed aloud somewhere during the course of this chapter. (Silly fangirl!) I still love your Saint-Just.

I am having giggling fits right now. Saint-Just in a dress. And the "Have you done this before?" line– oh, the possibilities...
I love watching Saint-Just go to such lengths to accomplish his goals and going about them as if it were perfectly normal. And I love Gerodere just kind of going along with it. They interact so nicely.

Absolutely intriguing! Although I was kind of hoping there would be a confrontation between Oscar and Saint-Just, this chapter is so interesting! More soon, please!

OMG! So beautifully written! You pinned the characterization of the two chief players down so accurately and presented them with an impossible situation that you made convincingly probable. I also love the way you compared Oscar with Saint Just. It's really astonishing how they do have more things in common than I would have first thought. Well done!

This is fantastic. I was a little dubious about the pairing before I read the story, but you just make it make so much *sense*. I adore your portrayal of Saint-Just; I can tell he's still the anime version, but you've added a touch of reality that somehow fills out his character perfectly.
I would love to just keep gushing but I'm having issues with coherency right now. But really, I think you have a gift for characterization.
