I loved this story. It was really interesting the way the people all were different but similar. The plot was intriguing exciting and engaging cause of the shifts through the other realities i didnt know what to expect.

You did a wondrous job of getting daniels perceptions and feeling whilst he was imprisoned in the other reality. one thing i did like was to detail in the to rooms that they kept Daniel in. I could imagine the rooms in my minds eye.

I think I agree with jack three Sams in one room scary.
the ending was sweet. I do think that a sequel is warranted just to tie up how everyones coping.

Ooh, just read the first chapter... I like this so far... very intriguing... I wonder what kind of world would turn O'Neill into such an ** (to say it lightly). Looking forward to continuing this.

This is an awesome story! It's very unique, and I enjoyed reading something where I didn't know or suspect what would happen next simply because I've read that kind of story before. I loved how you described the different characters, and how the characters in the alternate universes were all different but yet the same in someways. And even characters like the alternate Jack and Hammond, who were the bad guys (or in Jack's case at least started out that way) their badness was still somewhat reasonable and understandable. They were bad/evil, but they were still complex characters who had their reasons for doing what they did and behaving the way they did. With Hammond, of course, it was a bit harder to not simply see him as the ultimate bad guy, but even there I could (with lots of effort, I grant you) imagine why someone would think the way he did.

I also think that you did a wonderful job in describing Daniel's imprisonment and how he perceived it, what the effects on him were and what effects he had on the others. From the characters in the alternate universe I think I liked Samantha best. You managed to keep a sort of Sam-ness that made her recognizable but she was different enough to be intriguing. I always looked forward to reading the scenes that were written from her point of view and enjoyed those little insights into her background and the reasons for why she was so different than the Sam we know.

All in all this was a very well-written story, with few - if any - grammar or spelling mistakes. It is nice and well-rounded off. The only thing that I'd have liked to see is Daniel going back and seeing what happened with Jack and the Daniel that was to re revived. Still, though, I think a mark of a good story is one that keeps you intrigued, and this is certainly a good story. Thank you very much for writing it and putting out there for others to read.

i LOVED this story. it is really well written and well thought-out. i've never read as good a plot as this one before ^^ the only downside was the lack of slash XDD but that's only my preference *grins* i totally loved it seeing all those different realities and how different and similar the characters in them are. you did a truly remarkable work with the characterisations. thanks for writing this piece. oh, and what i found a bit lacking was the end and that's only because we don't get to know what happens with kidnapper-jack and his dead (but reviv-able) danny. all in all: great work. keep writing.

Well - it has taken all day to read this epic - and I enjoyed it very much. I was hoping that there would be a little more cooperation between realities - the frozen dead Daniel would be put in the sarcophagus in the other reality and returned to the catatonic Jack and Samantha - just a thought - I love happy endings - sigh. Maybe just one more chapter please??

Are you planning on a sequel or a little oneshot where the conflicts in the catatonic jack's reality are solved? i.e. Their Daniel is alive again because Makepeace finally found a sarcophagus, or the original Danny goes to visit the other Jack and wakes him from his coma?

This fic was awesome, btw. I admit that I cried a few times.

I love this story but what happened to Danny is he alive again and is Jack still catonic... please write a sequel I would really like to find out what happened to them.

I loved reading your story. It had an unique and interesting plot. The only thing is that it doesn't seem finished. Are you planning an epilogue or a short sequel? Daniel is still dead and Jack is still catatonic...

My I have to say this is the best story I've read in a while.
I was so into it I read it almost in one setting.
The drugged/crazy jack was very scary and intense, I could image
in so well. General Hammond/meanly angered me. I Loved all the
different Daniels too. Samantha was a fist confusing because she
did seem cold then later it made sense why.

It was so Dark and just gave me the creeps thought some parts.
But I am glad at did end happy, that so much for writing
