i hope to take a look at some of your orignal work soon, if the info on your profile is still valid?
Good luck |

MrsMosley 2008-03-13 . chapter 25SQUEE! Another wonderful story. And now I've read all your Blythe family stories and I'm sad that there aren't any more. I've got my fingers cross that perhaps there may be another up your sleeve. :) |
ilsa 2007-06-19 . chapter 25 Oh this is wonderful! I do so love your writing, its so homely, and atmospheric and L M Montgomeresque. I love that your plots are so well thought out too, Di's trials and tribulations all combine to form a great story instead of dropping in haphazardly. Beautiful. =) |
Maelys 2007-04-05 . chapter 25A really cute ending, for a nice story! |
Alatariel97 2006-11-05 . chapter 25I found the link to this story from the Tangled Web forum... and oh am I glad I did! I've sat here in front of my computer- a rapt reader- for the past two hours devouring the entire thing! It was excellent- I'm so glad I read this. It's not the typical story description that I click on, but I loved it.
Thank you so much for writing such a beautiful story- you made my day! At times I was laughing, at times I was crying... that's the sign of a great story. I loved when Leah and Jack finally got together, and she called him an idiot. I'd been waiting for her to do something like that for the entire story! And I had so many favorite moments besides that, I couldn't begin to remember them! Thank you! |
 Rebecca Morov 2006-10-17 . chapter 25 Elouise82,
I have just completed reading your wonderful story. I absolutely adored it! Since I am a big fan of Anne, having someone pen their existence and their life after the War gives me greater opportunities to imagine their lives as well.
I hope that you are mighty proud of your work and plan to continue writing! To me, yours is one the best pieces I have read on fanfiction.
Thank you

bythetwin 2006-10-16 . chapter 25Wow! Wonderful job, I am always so impressed with such long, detailed fanfics, you gave us all another book in the Anne series, and we all thank you for that! I know I have not reviewed story along the way :( but here is what my impressions were: I really enjoyed all the new characters that you introduced and other LMM characters that were added, I liked that you gave us glimses into the lives of the other Blythes, Wrights, Merediths, and Fords in your story but you kept it about Di, the paths that you gave the familiar characters were fun and original and have been since Shirley of Avonlea (such as having Jerry be a politician and Una move to India!), your descriptions about how Di was feeling and thinking throughout the story made it very easy for the reader to empathize with her. My critiques are that while I understand why you needed have the orphans adopted out quickly, it seemed unrealistic to have rich families adopting children so fast towards the end, even with Nan's influence, and my other concern is the Patrick-Elizabeth thing seemed predictable. Perhaps if Elizabeth COULD seem good for Patrick in Di's eyes, so it would be a surprise she ended up jilting him. Just some thoughts. Anyway, wonderful story, thank you so much for sharing it with us! |
Gufa 2006-10-13 . chapter 25 Oh, I'm so sorry it's over! Your story has been the main reason I've checked every evening , and it will seem strange not to await new chapters anymore! I've really, really enjoyed reading this story - I've always been fond of Di and felt that she got the short end of the stick in 'Rilla of Ingleside', and this is one of the better stories I've read chronicling her possible future. (Although Ruby Gillis had previously converted me to Jack Wright as Di's husband!) I've liked Patrick since 'Shirley of Avonlea', and the resolution of this story wasn't a great surprise to me. But I loved going along for the ride to get there! You've detailed several fascinating new characters and situations, as well as giving a distinct and believable personality to the old ones. The only thing I don't quite like about the ending is the fact that, after a rather long-drawn story, it all just resolved itself in half a chapter and didn't give quite enough satisfaction at the end - in the best of LMM tradition, though, considering 'Emily's Quest' and 'Mistress Pat'!
Anyway, I loved your story and your characters - thank you so very much for sharing, and I hope you'll have a new story for us soon!
Cheers,
Gufa |
r6144 2006-10-13 . chapter 25M...maybe it could have been a bit more romantic, but it's quite good as it is. How much has happened in these five years! Time changes, and people come and go, but there are certain things in life that always remain invariant. |
r6144 2006-10-13 . chapter 24Oh, what a happy chapter! I like your version of Una, just as much as the other two (or maybe more), even though they are so different. I'm also glad that you didn't make Elizabeth too bad. Di and Patrick--I've never thought too much about them before, but I think they would make a happy family with the children. Who would have thought, when they were having trouble with Mrs. Kennedy, that the Home would end in this way? |
old-fashioned girl 2006-10-12 . chapter 25 oh my goodness this story was wonderful! you have a beautiful writing style and i have love reading this work. i can't wait to read more stories by you! |
LizzieH1313 2006-10-12 . chapter 25Wow, it's finally over. It's a beautiful story, very well written and certainly kept my interest all the way through. Great job. |
