aw, poor kyo-kyo, i'm glad this had a fairly happy ending for him. interesting concept, you did an excellent job of carrying it out, and kyo and tohru were definitely in-character. excellent job.

That's one of those quotes that I know, but I have no idea where it came from. Doh! I looked at your reviews, seeing if anyone had even guesed it yet, and saw the one guessing Donnie Darko. Yeah, that would explain why it's a line I know. I've only seen the movie once though, so I wouldn't remember specific lines...and the thing confused the heck out of me too. lol _

Anyway, it was really great, and I'm glad Tohru's words put his mind at ease. What she said is certainly a nice way of thinking.

One minor complaint: Though Tohru DOES refer to her mother's advice frequently when talking to everyone else, she seems to do much less of that with Kyo. With him, it's more of what she thinks, not what she remembers her mom thinking.

Other than the one complaint, great job. I loved the story.
