CONGRATS! This is one of the best pieces of fanfic I've read. And I'm picky...But you truly have talent...I'm going to definitely continue to read your work!

I'd have preferred that the Paul/Norma romance be handled a but differently (I wish he'd gotten to know her beyond that little letter before truly falling for her), but its a small complaint...

I knew it, I knew it! Jasper and Rebecca are meant for each other. I'm so glad they've finally got it out in the open and everything's worked out so well. I love Jasper's character -- I think he's one of my favorites. It's strange, really -- I like Jasper very much, but I've enjoyed reading about Norma and Paul's relationship more than Jas and Becky's. Odd!

I do hope there's to be an epilogue -- or perhaps even a few more chapters, because I love this story so much and hate to see it end!

I KNEW Jasper and Rebecca would end up together! It was "Meant to Be." But now I'm sad -- this is the last chapter, isn't it? Or are there still a few loose threads to tie up?

Yay! Finally! I knew it was Jasper...and what a satisfying chapter! So funny the way they were all shocked and surprised - very Dark&Penhallow-ish! I hopw we'll have another chapter or two??

A very good chapter, and a most unexpected end to whom Rebecca would marry. I never expected that she'd choose Jasper, but her choice is a good one. They love each other and are sure to have many years of happiness.

Oh hurrah--I always liked Jasper. And I find a sort of poetic justice in the overlooked, ugly member of the clan winning the heart of the beautiful darling (and without even trying, at that!). I still find Norma and Paul a more interesting couple, if only because Norma was such an tragic but real character, and I heartily rejoiced when she found her happiness, but I'm thoroughly delighted for Becca and Jasper, as well.

I especially liked the bit about the clan feeling resentful toward Brian Dark for being understanding--it's one of those ironic subtleties that LMM herself was so good at. Same goes for the bit about Junius Penhallow. This story has had so much richness and spice to it all the way through; it has been a real treat to read. Is it over? Or is there going to be some sort of wrap-up to it all? I suppose I'll find out soon enough ...

You know, Minnie reminds me of that cousin of her mother's that remained in her Widow's weeds. It was Virginia, right? Anyway, Cliff found someone who wants acceptance and doesn't mind kissing his feet. I'm still just glad that Paul and Nora found each other. Also, I do hope my namesake has a little fun. Oh, and what of Rebecca?

Oh, good grief -- but what can you expect of two people like Minnie and Cliff? Well, at least Cliff found someone who is willing to tell him he's wonderful -- if not think it -- and that Minnie's found some kind of security to which she can cling.

And Paul and Norma are settling in Avonlea! How perfect for the two of them!

I am so happy you've taken this story up again -- it's one of my favorites of yours. I can't wait for the next chapter! :)

I've been waiting for them to find each other! I imagine they'll probably bicker half the time and spend the rest laughing at each other and the world, and be happier than almost anyone else in the Dark or Penhallow family. Yay!
