I found this over at LJ and... all I can say is WOW. I love the idea of how the burden on his soul manifests itself as a physical illness, and how that illness gets passed from one Captain to the next as the secret is passed through the generations. It flows nicely and is beautifully written

I like! But now I want a follow-up of Ukitake sitting in 4th division with Gin next to him, both of them hacking away . . . =)

I enjoyed that very much. I always thought Ukitake was an interesting character in the series and you filled out the aspect of his 'disease' nicely without taking *too* many liberties.
