Re-read again and realized that I forgot to mention how badass your fic is. If Darth Vader had a kid with Alucard, the offspring resulting from such an union would still be light-years away from the level of badassity that your ficlet has.

Very very good, reading this was like reading one of Laumer's books. One small point though, at one part you imply that Shiva has two treads, like modern tanks. However, starting at somewhere around mark VII, all Bolo had body wide tracks.
Other than that it was fantastic!

Being a fan of TOS BSG, and being a new fan of Bolos, I really appreciated this fiction in what Shiva does to the nBSG cylons.

It was also satisfying to see the high and mighty 'cylons' 'carrying out the work of god' and all, only to be pwned from the ground by one Bolo and a pair of hellbore cannons.

I laugh hard when the bolo shot down the cyclon fleet in seconds and trick six, knocking their arrogance and self center so called superior people attitude (in heritage from the Colonials) down a few pegs. showing who is really the superior being.

Congratulations, you have helped inspire me to pick up the Bolo series of books. Brilliant stories, both this one and Saved by the Bolo. I only hope that you will continue your nBSG/Bolo crossover shorts, or maybe even turn it into an actual multichapter story

That was magnificient! Okay, helped that I am a Bolo fan, yet apart from that, it was a wonderful blending of the two realities. The words crafted here easily let my mind go back to the story Shiva came from. Adding in the Cylons so seamlessly it felt as if they were part of the same universe instead of a crossover. I was lead to this story by the post of the 2nd one. I know you said you didn't have to read this one for the second one, but its a Bolo story. So rare and you summed the Bolos so wonderfully. Any author who could do that bares reading. Thank you for this tale!

Oh yeah, EAT IT! Sorry I had to get that out. I alway love stories when the Cylon get pounded flat. It's even more fun when they completely underestimate their destroyers. And I love Bolos so this has everything I think is awesome in it. Thank you very much for the story. It's going on my favorites list from now on.
