That was great... I never really had thought about how many people died with Dorthy being the last thing they saw... It's it's hard to describe but it intriuges me... You're a very talented writter. Great Job as always!

This story is great. I like being inside Roger's head. I like hearing him talk about Dorothy and not knowing exactly what he's thinking. Two big's up from me. *_*v

Very interesting, and a true view of how some deny loss by denying themselves.. you and I, I hope, know the awful truth, and it's glory.. that without accepting nice things, we are letting the world that takes them away again laugh in triumph.. no. I have to defy that, in my life, and i hope Roger Smith sees that Dorothy sees it clearer than he does, and accepts beauty and pain, that she may find beauty again.

Wonderfully introspective. One thing comes to mind as I finish this story...possibly a screenful of "Enter"s should be inserted following the story, before the AN's, so that the reader only sees white after reading. It would give the reader a chance to reflect on the story and receive the "silence" of a blank screen that one craves after reading deeply introspective pieces like yours. It might aid in the "reading experience". Or I might be off my rocker. Either way, a wonderful piece.

THe Sax played that slow, melancholy tune in the background and I could hear Roger's voice as plain as I could hear anything else. I am deeply moved. you have captured what I think of as the true meaning behind the Big O Series. Write more deep things. Seek to uderstand yourself through these fices. This wasn't Roger speaking. I think it was you.
