I can't believe a this story has had so few reviews. It is true genius. A beautiful story that leaves me in tears every time I read it. Harry was perfectly cast as the tragic hero, there were more than enough clues as to what was really happening, and the ending was perfect as well.

I think this was a truly brilliant story. I'm not as much of a die-hard Harry/Hermione fan as most of your readers, I don't think, so it was really nice for me, as someone with no one true ship, to see you branching out. Really great work. You restored my faith in Harry/Hermione writers, which had been waning of late due to the rabid ramblings of a few people in a certain yahoo group...

That was absolutely brilliant! As I am American, what I mean is inspired, moving and surprising (not just Brit-version of 'cool'). As I am fond of thinking of Harry as angst-worthy, I would have had him walk away and ponder the impact of truth and lies and then apply his detective skills in tracking her down, but that could grow into an epic. I don't know if the strain would be too much for A.J. to bear.
I doubt that Harry's issue with her would have been house-specific though. If anything, he might feel a kinship with her isolation from her house-mates.

great story. loved the idea of the polyjuice hooker. read one where hermione pays someone to look like harry and harry intercepts the guy and does it himself. this was even better then that, although i am sad about it not being a hhr in the end. but this was a rare case where i enjoyed harry being with an oc. great story.

Anyway! Interesting... Now I think about it, it does seem to be quite a logical use for Polyjuice gunk. Perhaps somewhat immoral, but with a potions NEWT it'd make sense.
