Wonderful. I'm so glad I've discovered your stories, they really are quite amazing -- I love the characterizations of Harry and Snape, so *in* character even though it's obvious that Snape isn't quite the malevolent bastard everyone makes him out to be. :-) And I, like you, often have that sadistic desire for Harry to get caught when he goes off in the middle of the night, and most often by Snape, just because Snape would never let him get away with it. Hehe! I wonder what that says about me...

Interesting, Harry without his cloak and map. it will change the story but in the later books he doesn't need the two much. Snape's figuring out what's going on might change the story but not enough to alter the ending, I think because he won't find out everything unless he uses truth potion.

Now, this is interesting. Snape will, of course, see that Crouch is on the map wherever Moody appears in the castle, and will see that two and two is four, being the smart man that he is. I'm interested in seeing how this version of things plays out. Keep it up!
