Hey, don't get so worried about reviews, ok? :) Sometimes good stories don't get many reviews, just like many good movies don't get Oscars - some stories are just popular, they please the crowds of people, they have lots of crowd-pleasing things like romance in them, even though they can be sometimes badly-written.
You're doing REALLY well, for a Russian writer, when English isn't your first language. It's very impressive! The first chapter was a little confusing, I wasn't quite sure what was happening, because the situation Silas was in seemed strange, but I'm sure it will make sense when I re-read it and read the next chapter. It seems almost like Silas/an angel slash...wow, now there's an interesting pairing...!

Don't worry, this was an excellent chapter. The way you wrote the beginning was absolute genius- I still can't believe English isn't your first language!

I like your description of Eugene, even though normally it isn't good to just spill every detail of a character right up front. She seems like an interesting original character, and not at all typical or perfect. Well done!
