You know, even before the summary was presumably changed to mention this was AU, it's pretty obvious that it is. I mean, Cassie doesn't know Tobias, after all, and if he had become a human nothlit she'd recognize him. And he wouldn't go back to high school. And Rachel would be dead. And Cassie was the only one who went back to school and even then she took night classes and probably got a GED...anyway, this is a very interesting 'what if' scenario. I'm glad Tobias found some sort of purpose because him without meeting the others really worries me.

Still, it was very good. I loved the interaction between the characters, and everyone was so totally IC. And the debate on torture... *mutters* ... I'll get back to you on that.

Cassie doesn't strike me as a debater. I could see Jake, Rachel and Marco on a team, but Cassie seems like she's a little to shy to be very good at it...

Hey cool idea! I liked this very much. You did a wonderful job using dialogue for characterization-everyone was as they should be. It's kind of interesting thinking how different, yet similar, they would be if the war had never happened.

It stands alone very well (good ending!) but any kind of further expansion on this idea would be most welcome. )
