Sage/Tessa of the Hellfire Club has the ability to awaken dormant mutations and evolve existing powers to the next level, so it’d be interesting what effects Sage’s jump-start ability would have on a mutant vampire.

On the other hand, periodic injections of mutant growth hormone (MGH) might diminish a mutant vampire’s lust for blood and physical vulnerability to sunlight, much like Blade the Half-Vampire.

Undiluted MGH was what turned Hank "Beast" McCoy into a blue furred ape. Originally, he resembled a neanderthal.

Wesley's dad is definitely a piece of work, based on the few references and that one-sided phone call where he tore Wesley's self esteem to shreds... amazing this W's mom apparently just stood there and let him do it...
Too bad this isn't xavier's, Wesley could interact with some of the magic users there--Illyanna and so on.as is, the Hellions were an interesting group. and the projective empath is definitely slime material. Maybe he'll learn something from this.

Maybe Dawn can turn out to be a mutant later on, or Willow (all that floating pencils stuff--maybe that's a mutant ability she mistakes for magic?) - Connor would be a fun possibility also.
But even just the Hellions etc are very interesting. Hm, perhaps the council mistakes one of them for a demon and puts him or her on their 'kill on sight' list?

Well, it sounds like Wesley is going to have to break it to Emma about creatures of the night. Which means he may need to get the Slayer out here to clean things up!

this is sure better than hunting rogue demons, hee... might be interesting if some of the people from Angel show up--that telekinetic girl for example might well have been a mutant... or maybe Connor someday...
Not sure where this story is going, but it's a lot of fun so far... nice to see some of the minor characters like Amara etc... hm maybe have one of the students actually be a part-demon (like the cat girl?)

I had almost given up HOPE that you would pick this story up again! Its not often that one sees such a different side of Wesley than what we are used to thinking of him. And the fact that this technique for the Watchers is of some use against Empath (note that I am using the Hellion code name for him!) proves that there is some use for these old Watcher techniques. And perhaps, there is a hint at some relationship possibly between Wesley and Emma? One can only hope or dream about that.

too bad it isn't Prof X's academy--I've always wondered if maybe Kurt Wagner really is a demon, and people just think he's a mutant (including himself)-there were a few Hellions one could argue are part demon...
Hm--Wesley also knows several demon languages, but I can see him not mentioning that...
