Lol, yeah, I saw that wicked ending coming, but I think you needed to make it slightly clearer? Just a thought, maybe seprate the 'it' out into a single sentence when the words 'dinner party' are finally revealed, it's just the tiniest bit unclear. Could just be my opinion and lousy skin-reading,though, if so,ignore. :) Cool idea, that's for sure.
