| Silver Warrior 2008-01-17 ch 18, | abuseyahoo! Wily's been taken in... again. So, what, one, maybe two more Rebellion's to go? Poor Mr. X... I think. Was he really the backer of Wily? In any event, Doc Man as the Robot Reaper... very strange. Very strange indeed. |
| jfr07 2007-05-08 ch 18, | abuseIt may be your not one of your best storys so far, but it is still far better than some of the stuff floating around here. And, let's face it, MM6 was not exactly the most innovative Megaman game so far (both story- and gameplay-wise). The only thing I Really think you should work at are the battles with the Robot Masters, which I found very rushed. But I really believe, that your next piece (Final Fantasy, you said? Hmm, never played one, I'm afraid..) will be at your old standard again. |
| megaman fan 2007-02-17 ch 18, anon. | abuseactually, in the megaman zero series, it's not a teleporter. It's A TRANS-SERVER. While teleporters teleport you some where without a link, trans-servers have one that teleports you, and one that receives you. In MMZ2 and onwards, Those zones were just teleported into. But in the airship scenario and others, Ciel and the humans teleported via transerver to the Resistance's tran-server, or Area Zeros. Okay? That's my guess. |
| Seraph 2006-12-24 ch 1, anon. | abuseYou were wrong. This is not the worst of your stories. Granted, it ain't your best, but it's much better than half the crap that's festering 'round here. Good job! (4/5) |
| Penterghast 2006-10-08 ch 18, | abuseHey, I've been reading these for a while now, just got done with this one... wanted to just touch on a few points, some of which that you outlined in your A/N at the end. The levels did seem a bit rushed, I'll admit that, and so did a few of the bosses. Plant Man, for instance, seemed to have some personality, but then didn't get the chance to expand upon it. That said, it was still a great piece of fanfiction. You're just up against some tough competition within your own work. MM5, 3, and 4 were all incredible reads... and this one forced you to kill off one character, and cause divison in that sense. It was still an enthralling read, but it seemed too predictable. That's largely due to the fact that MegaMan games *are* predictable... even though they change, they all stay the same. You hammered it home with this one, and I think that it became samey in turn... That said, I've grown very interested in Bass' character, the eventual character of X, and Auto... and also to seeing your take on all of the Dark Energy stuff from MM8. I'll be waiting for your next installment with a smile on my face. You're an incredible author. Keep it up, please. :) |
| Jon Armor Mode 2006-10-08 ch 1, anon. | abuseI played Mega Man Zero 4 again recently and in part of it, several times humans teleported. And seeing as how Ciel does NOT have a scrambled brain, I'd say either teleporting doesn't scramble brains, or the teleporter was fixed so it didn't scramble brains some time between 200X and 21XX. |
| Maetch 2006-10-06 ch 18, | abuseI've been a big fan of your stories, specifically Chrono Trigger and the Mega Man series, and I'd like to thank you for that. So now you're going into Final Fantasy? First of all, don't do FFVI, as we've already got a perfectly good novelization of that (look for it under the author Celes Chere). I think the best one for you to do would be either FFV or FFIX (although I think that FFIX may be too much even for you, no offense). Whichever one you pick, make it good in the only way you know how. |
| Jon Armor Mode 2006-09-22 ch 18, anon. | abuseGreat story. A question, which MegaMan games are you going to novelize? Of course 3-8, and R&F, but what about the GameBoy games, in particular 4 and 5? Because they're some of the most plot-containing in the series. *beams out* |
| Ri2 2006-09-08 ch 18, anon. | abuseAnd so another rebellion ends. Actually, I think this was in some ways better than the last one...or was it the one before that? Whichever one had Dark Man masquerade as Proto Man. Anyway, good overall, and I can't help but despair for Rock because Doc Man's absolutely right...it's never over. Speaking of which, I assume this means you'll write Mega Man 7...eventually? |
| Jessi Tsuki 2006-09-08 ch 18, | abuseAww T.T Well you're atleast gonna do Rockman and Forte right? I'm actually not knowledged on what the games were on before...but I know I have R&F on GBA, but I think it was on something else before..so technically it would be considered the classic series wouldn't it? And I still love your novelizations regardless, I hope someday I can write like you =( P.S. YAY FORTE!! |
| Veglma 2006-09-08 ch 18, | abuse*laugh insanely at Auto* He was cool! XD ...Final Fantasy? Oh, now that going to be interesting to see. *grins* |
| Amethyst Nighthut 2006-09-08 ch 18, | abuseWell well well. Now that all is said and done, we that the good Ol' Doc Man is still keeping up his hobby of tormenting Rock in his sleep. All honesty, I think its a good thing for Rock, as he can obviously really stick to his guns and stand by his beliefs more than most other people can. I feel that deep inside, Rock does know that what Doc Man said is true, that it will never end, but sometimes one can not give up that hope. One can't just back down, and the way you showed Rock handling Doc Man there really proves that he's not going to back down. I'll look forward to your work on the Final Fantasy games, and while I would prefer to see one on 4 myself, one for the first game in the series wouldn't be a bad thing honestly. |
| Maximus1 2006-09-08 ch 18, | abusePerhaps I'm biased after reading all of your novelizations, but I didn't think it was that bad. No doubt the best part at the end was the foreshadowing of things to come, and as for the levels, its a kind of testimony to your affection for these games that you stick to the framework even when it gets a little repetitive to be made a novel. Por Example: In order to exemplify how good Mega's been getting at predicting Wily, I thought you were going to have him set up an ambush at the Skull Fortress instead. I was partially right- 'ended with a whimper instead of a bang'. No one believed Wily for long this time, although we may never find out exactly where he gets his funding from... But hey, I'm rambling here. Good job with the ending, can't wait to see your FF novelization- I suggest one of the older ones from 1 to 5, since they have more blanks to fill with your creativity, and the later ones are already novels unto themselves. Looking forward to it, as well as just how overwhelmed Mega is going to be afterwards if you follow your 'pattern' (making Megaman 7 after your FF novel). Finally he'll understand that his enemy simply WILL NOT stop until one or the other is dead, and Bass will only complicate matters. 'Till then. *salutes* |
| Dr. Thinker 2006-09-08 ch 18, | abuseCan't wait to see which FF you pick for your fan-novel! Logging off, Dr. Thinker |
| Red Chaos Mage 2006-09-07 ch 18, | abuseAnd so another ends... despite its shortcomings, it is still a worthy Magus work, so don't think for a minute that you've lost your following, bossman... well, my following your stuff anyway... (just kidding, I'm sure the others feel the same way I do) I admit I am a bit disappointed that you're not doing the X series (my personal favorite of the MegaMan franchises), but I will definitely follow your recommendation and check out Sir Erico's... and I'll probably end up kicking myself for not doing so sooner (you'll hear about it, trust me) Let's see, what else... the last Doc Man meeting was great... the unidentified Bass scene was just as I envisioned you would make it... the funeral was touching, and the connection to MMX was flawlessly executed... I think that's all the business stuff for this installment. I'll admit, the Final Fantasy franchise is completely uncharted waters for me, so I'll have no idea where the hell things are going while you're proceeding. I don't know if that will be a good thing or a bad thing, but I'll still play the loyal reviewer and give my opinion on what happens. Here's hoping I don't get lost. *raises his sword in salute* Until next time, Lord Magus. Keep up the good work. ~Red Chaos Mage~ |
