I don't think they would leave him... but it was so cool how you described it! I seriously felt sad for Luffy. And the ending was brilliant. XD

the whirlpool part is funny!

I'm a *little* unconvinced that everyone would have stopped visiting, let alone stopped writing letters. But you made a lovely insight at the conclusion, that Luffy had started out by wandering aimlessly. And I really liked the whirlpool at the end - makes everything come full circle. Literally, I guess ^_~
