I used to check from time to time without much hope for an update and then I stumble on 6 new chapters!! What a great surprise ! I'm not one to review much but I was so happy to see you go on with the story... I hope to see more mother/daughter interaction (and maybe some Vanessa/Brad) and I can't wait how things will go with Roxane (I hope Matt will right things up and can bring some comfort to her; she needs some affection). Keep on writing; I can't wait for the next chapter!

I think a lot of what your characters do/think is irrational, but it dose provide drama, and drama makes a story. It's all been pretty good, and "The Fallen" was much better then "Death Becomes Her". I hope to get to finish the story soon. Please keep writing.

Sounds like Jon has Roxy doing his dirty work! If and when Roxanne is found, first thing to do is find out what drugs she's been on, then find out if she was doing this voluntarily or not. If Voluntarily, then off to Prison for her. If not, then detox, then decide if she goes to prision or not.

Damn things juts heat up on and on with someone pouring more gas on the fire.

Mask certainly does need to regroup with their vehicles compromised and alot of them injured they need to bug out.

Dusty's future seems bleak...yet I can't find it in me to feel too sorry for him. As much as I probably will be yelled for this, well the cowboy brought Roxy's wrath on himself mind-controlled or not. As it is just about everyone in Mask has f**ked up concerning Roxanne, either not trying hard to try and understand her or not letting go of thier mistrust and being overly verbal about it. So in a way Mask gave Jon all the fuel he needed to made his control over Roxy that much more effecient and adds geniune emotions of alienation and rejection to bolster Roxy's own innate rage against the Mask team.

It seems to me in Roxy's mind it's not so much about some grand takeover the world plan as she's doing Jon's bidding which also coincides with her own want of vengence against Mask.

I know that Annie wants payback for what has happened, but Hondo is right! They are in a major mess, and they need to regroup, get healed up, and plot out what their next move is going to be, rather than go off half cocked!

Assuming Jon would even bother to let her speak her mind. He's shown to have zero respect for anybody other than himself, so I doubt even if he let Vanessa exchange words, it wouldn't matter. He'd either brush her off, or pull a gun on her and tell her to shut up and dance to his puppet strings like everyone else in the world is supposed too.

Have I already said how I hate that bastard? Top Grade-A f*cktard material he is. I will enjoy when he finally goes down...hopefully a shotgun to his groin first, followed by systematic dismembering of his limbs and then buckshot to the brain.

Sadistic? Yes but Jon wouldn't hesitate to do the same to someone else if the whim struck him.

From the sounds of things, it seems that someone has activated a EMP discharge. That is the only thing I can think of that would cause such effects on the vehicle engines. But there WILL be payback on this, because MASK will not rest until its people are safe, new vehicles prepared, and THEN, they go after the person who caused this. And I think that Vanessa is going to have a few words with Miles' little boy about the actions of his protege/servant.
