This was really put together well. I liked the insight Snape had on how the curse pulls you in and the background on some of his life. Great with the details!

I like the fic, this last chapter however the best. I f I may have a little bit of critic - you should have Dumbledore say tho Snape he has to learn Harry to kill. Not to duel. I have somehow awaited something completely different. Not that the rest would be bad - but it was confusing. Or duel - and "Even if it pains me, also the unforgivables." or something. But never mind me, the fic is very good and I like it. (-:

This line was perfect:
Teaching an innocent to kill. Teaching an innocent to cause pain. Another sin he could add to his head.

And then the end of this lat chapter where Snape realises that his redemption would be to take care of Harry not becoming the next Dark Lord. (-:

That's depressing! It's REALLY well writen because now I feel, well:depressed. You should make it into a full story it would be really cool! Anyway despite what you do or don't do, I throughly enjoyed it and hope to read more of your writing-if not this story-soon

Great story. Yes, I did expect something longer but this is fine as it is. I like reading what other people think goes on in Snape's head. Only one little problem with the chapter, I think when you describe the little girl you first say she has blue eyes but then in the next line you say they are green.

I really liked this chapter. I felt it really delved into what Snape must think of himself if he is trying to be good.

i think you should continue this. i really liked it. it was different. well done. maybe you could have the continuation of the torture lessons, then having to use it- for example, an excursion to the forbidden forest as part of the lesson. its up to you. just an idea
