That was really good. I had to laugh at Zell bringing cards only for them to play them outside in Trabia. It'd normally be a bit hard to imagine Squall stripping down to his boxers to go after Zell, but you made it believable ;). Ending was cute without being fluffy, too.

Loved it. And I liked the ending too because some are ending like crap. Not yours, I loved it.

Squall&Zell suddenly seem like a possible couple. The dialogue was brilliant, it kept the characters so true to their personalities. Though, personally, I think Squall went a little too wild with the kiss. Maybe I would've prefered if there was no kiss, just the sultry whispers and sexual tenstion. But the kiss was fine too. It was a little unexpected but I guess that added a little extra something.

That was wonderful. You really managed to keep the characters so true to their personalities in the game. I think you captured Zell's childish goofiness perfectly and I felt that this could definitely have been a scene taken straight from the game. It also nicely showed Squall's development of friendship as being very subtle.

The dialogue was excellent and the story progressed interestingly - like how Squall began to relax and open up more towards the climax. The only thing I slightly disagreed with was the kiss thing at the end, but hey, that's your choice and by no means did it spoil the fic. I just felt like it came out of nowhere a little bit. Right up until that point I felt it was a perfect friendship fic and the kiss thing popped up without warning. Still, you pulled the angle off with a lot more style than a lot of other writers manage.

Very well done! This is the best fanfic I've read in months. Keep it up. :)

Aw, this was lovely, and exactly what I want in a Squall/Zell. Both so in character.
