It's funny how alot of people never thought of a suicidal Kakashi, but I've always seen him as..well..just as you're story. He would massivly screw up and instead of pushing his team more, teaching them a lesson or reading his books, he would kill himself or take on a bunch of suicidal missions.
Yes, they're all in character to me by the way. =)
Try not to let ficjockers get you down. There's no way to stop them, even if you stop writing. They'll just take your other fics or just get bored and move on to the next person. The only way you'd stop people from taking your fics, is to leave fanfiction and your fans behind. And an angry mob of ficloving fans is almost worse than ficjockers. o_o;
