I have been reading this story for years and it is still as good now as the first time I read it. Its not a story that you look back on and thinks "Damn, did I really like this?"

Its a good story and you really need to take your time and make a sequel. I know you said that this is a one-shot, but a two shot is really a good idea here.

About how Bryan is going to shield Tala from Kai I mean. You can really do great things about that!
