This was so rewarding to read. You really fleshed them out, and I have to say, I like this back story than the one the prequels laid out for them. You also managed to be true to their older selves as we see them in the first movie (the very first "A New Hope" movie) where Owen is stern and practical but seems like he would be a devoted family man and Beru has that warm wisdom a homestead wife like her would develop over time. This is marriage. This is love. It's not always a honeymoon and it's not always easy. I'm guessing this galaxy's vows include much of the same as ours, "for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health," etc. It's concise, but says so much. Great one-shot.

I liked this- an unusual subject for a fic, certainly, but all the better for it because it's not been done to death already :)
